I am pretty sure this is from an old June 1969 NationaGeographic article on Deerfield, Massachusetts. Naturally, there’s mention of Deerfield Academy, pictured here.
It’s bizarre that I can remember books and magazines so well, but not names and faces of people in my every day life.
This person is correct.

Anonymous asked: Why don't you update your blog very often?
Believe it or not, it’s relatively difficult to find things that I think really mesh with what I want my blog to be. For instance, look under tags like “Yale” and you get results about the Penatonix covering “Gangnam Style”. Look at “school” or “academics” and all you get are complaints about education (not in the spirit of onlyacademia at all!). The tag “books” is a mixed bag…. I try, though! If you (or anyone else who’s reading this) comes across a great post, feel free to submit it at onlyacademia.tumblr.com/submit!
